My research aims at analyzing the effect of biotic (antagonistic and mutualistic) and abiotic interactions on the structure of trophic networks involving plants, insects (pollinators, phytophagous plants and natural enemies) in agrosystems. I am particularly interested in the effect of thermal and pollutant stresses and the effect of micro-organisms on the interactions within and among trophic levels, the underlying processes of these interactions and the consequences for the functioning and services provided by agro-ecosystems. I also analyze the feedback effects of these interactions on stress responses of organisms. My research interests lie in the disciplinary fields of evolutionary and functional ecology and the associated fields of ecophysiology and behavioral ecology.
